the terms of an arithmetic sequence in general are
a,a+d,a+2d,a+3d,....a+(n−1)d
where a is the first term and d the common difference
each term is generated by adding the common difference to the previous term
a 1 = 2
a 2 = 2 + 13 = 15
a 3 = 15 + 13 = 28
a 4 = 28 + 13 = 41
a 5 = 41 + 13 = 54
