By looking the equation of the line
y=2x−5
the slope is 2, any line parallel will have the slope=2
So the equation of any parallel line is y=2x+c
Putting the values of the point (0,−3) weobtain the value of c
−3=0+c
so c=−3
and the equation of the line is y=2x−3
