y=mx+c is a straight line's equation where m is its slope, c is a constant, and
y whether the y intercept (the point where the line crosses the vertical y-axis).
For example: 3x−y=−3 can be written as y=3x+3 where the y-intercept is 3 and the slope of the equation is 3. (By putting x=0)
