Defining π.
We are aware that irrational numbers are real, non-terminating, non-repeating numbers that cannot be expressed as a straightforward fraction. It cannot be characterized by a ratio, such as pq, where p and q are integers, q0.
In decimal form, π is expressed as 3.14159265358979 which is non terminating and non repeating.
Hence π is an irrational number.
