f(x,y)=ysin1xy
Differentiate with respect to y, treat x like a constants
fy(x,y)=sin1xy+y11x2y2x
fy(x,y)=sin1xy+xy1x2y2
Therefore
fy(1,12)=sin112+12114
fy(1,12)=π6+1232
fy(1,12)=π6+13
Result:
fy(1,12)=π6+13
