We have to convert polar coordinates to rectangular polar coordinates are (2,(π/2)) where r=2 and θ=π/2 Now we have to change it in rectangular coordinates i.e. in terms of x and y So, we know that x=rcosθ
y=rsinθ put values of r and theta Now, we have x=rcos(θ)
x=2cos(π2)
x=20
x=0
y=rsin(θ)
y=2sin(π2)
y=2 So rectangular coordinates are (x,y)=(0,2)
