cos 2 x sin 2 x = cos 3 x cos 2 x = cos 3 x 2 x = 2 π n ± 3 x x = 2 π n  or  x = 2 π n 5

The second case includes the first case. 2 π n = 2 π ( 5 n ) 5

cos 3 x = cos x cos x sin x sin x = cos 2 x ,
which is equivalent to
3 x ± 2 x = 2 k π
for some integer k.
